HE/HF Filter is now NIOSH Approved and In Stock
Interactive Safety Products introduces the new HE/HF filter is now NIOSH approved and in stock. The New Pureflo PAPR Systems can be ordered with HE/HF Filters.
The HE/HF filter for the Pureflo and Pureweld PAPR is a NIOSH approved HEPA filter that incorporates carbon and has received NIOSH approval for use against Hydrogen Fluoride (HF). Because of the carbon, this filter is able to remove other** organic gases and vapors with boiling points greater than 65°C, inorganic gases and vapors, acid gases, and Ozone when present at nuisance* levels.
The HE/HF filter was designed for use in welding, smelting and foundry applications, but is not limited to use in those industries.
*Nuisance level refers to concentrations not exceeding OSHA PEL or other applicable government occupational exposure limits, whichever is lower. NIOSH does not approve filters for nuisance level protection.
**User is responsible to determine the effectiveness of the filter against their particular nuisance gas or vapor.
